They will also examine and evaluate the use of a range of progress maps that can be used to record and report students' literacy development throughout the school. More general issues, such as the moderation of standards of student work across classes and across schools, will also be considered. The second section will engage students in the investigation of processes and strategies for working with colleagues and parents to develop policies and policy statements relating to the quality of Englishteaching and learning in the school context.
