Syllabus:

Presents an overview of quality management systems used in the software development industry, including ISO 9001:2000, CMM and CMMI. Safety proofs and formal specification, including proof by contradiction and mathematical specification. The Object Constraint Language and the testing of assertions. Unit, integration, and system testing including a regression testing. Test driven development and extreme programming. White and black box testing strategies including a detailed treatment of equivalence partitioning, cyclomatic complexity and boundary value analysis. Testing of distributed and transaction based systems. Testing approaches based on decision tables, graph theory and finite state machines. Fault seeding and statistical approaches to testing.
