Syllabus:

Introduction to principles, practice and significance of health promotion. Policy and guidelines in health promotion. Nature and purpose of evaluation in health promotion. Considering health promotion criteria and principles in program evaluation. Issues, ethics, and politics in health promotion evaluation. Case study review and analysis of program responses (local, national and international) to a variety of health issues and associated population groups for example, HIV/AIDS, drug use, nutrition and physical activity, mental health, aged care, and mosquito borne diseases.
