Syllabus:

Types of diabetes, screening and diagnostic criteria for GDM. Diabetogenic effect of pregnancy. Glucose homeostasis in pregnant women with diabetes. Pre-conception, antenatal and postnatal care of women with diabetes and women with gestational diabetes. Maternal and infant complications associated with diabetes. Evidence-based best practice management of pregnant women with diabetes and their infants.
