Syllabus:

An assessment of the tools and techniques for measuring and assessing outcomes and performance with a view to developing effective systems for evaluation of policy and management in the public sector. Techniques such as output budgeting, agency performance, triple bottom line, balanced scorecard and benchmarking will be examined. Emerging trend in different national jurisdictions (eg UK, Canada and the USA) will be examined.
