Syllabus:

Two approaches to wave propagation analysis. Propagation - in unbounded homogeneous fluid media with and without absorption, in the presence of a slowly varying refractive index, in media with rapidly varying refractive index, wave guide and ducted. Applications. Sonar ray tracing and intensity computation. Turbulence. Velocity potential. Reflection at boundaries.
