Syllabus:

Main ideas and approaches in the study of development, development thinking from the 18th century to today, colonial, post-colonial and post-development theory, globalisation and development, indigenous notions of development, environment and development; management of development in Asia and elsewhere and the main factosr in development (World Bank, NGOs, states).
