Syllabus:

Traditional folk culture as distinct from high or commercial popular culture. Ethnic, regional, occupational and other communities in Australia. Fieldwork consists of individual projects, particularly in documenting intangible aspects of culture such as beliefs, customs, rituals, speech, pastimes or children's games.
