Women's health from a global perspective. Social condition of women - their place in society, feminist theory, women as consumers and providers of health, health care industry, history of women as healers, women and medicalisation, women's health and the women's movement, women and body image, eating disorders, health promotion, menopause, nutrition, rural women, sexual sterotyping, sexuality, ageing, strategies for women to gain control over their bodies and health.
