Examination of the issues surrounding heritage and conservation as applied to the built environment. Includes the following topics - heritage legislation and International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) conservation guidelines, the assessment ofcultural significance and conservation plans, and the practices of building inspection, measurement and recording.
