Syllabus:

The unit provides students with an opportunity to apply knowledge, experiment with ideas and demonstrate skills through the successful implementation of a multimedia work. The lectures are designed to expose students to the broader issues surrounding multimedia practice, while the workshops provide a forum for students to explore problem areas and investigate problem-solving processes related to their projects. In the process of developing the major project direct students will address issues in project management, user testing, audience feedback evaluation, aesthetics, functionality and project delivery. Although practical outcomes will be the main driving component in the program, focus will also be placed on the ability to critique work, reflect upon the experience and learn from the process.
