Syllabus:

Explanation of the theory and research of ergonomics. The theoretical aspects examined include: the historical development of ergonomics, the philosophical underpinnings of ergonomics and the technical and human sciences knowledge bases of ergonomics. The practical application of ergonomics will be explored through evaluation of case studies in ergonomics research and preparation of a research proposal.
