Syllabus:

Overview of computer architectures. Operating systems fundamentals - file systems, memory management, process management. Comparative review of operating systems including command language and shells. Networking fundamentals - the ISO/OSI model, local area networks, wide area networks, facilities provided by networks and Internet protocols and services.
