Syllabus:

Incorporating a two-week study tour of Shanghai and an optional business trip to Beijing, this unit focuses on researching first-hand the business cultural norms of China and provides students with a learning experience that promotes cultural understanding and insight into business processes in a non-Australian arena. Students will be required to undertake an appropriate research topic and use their time in China to investigate work practices, economic reforms, leadership management, finance, market penetration feasibility, and international business opportunities. The study tour will also encompass lectures and business meetings with Trade Commissioners and senior managers in China.
