Syllabus:

Social and cultural changes, structural adjustment and microeconomic reform, increases in family dislocation. Nature of schools populations, response to changes in economic, social and technological aspects of society and changes in parent participation.At risk children, family education and support programs, early intervention and blending various types and levels of early education programs. Local studies of relationships between families and school personnel with an emphasis on catering for diversityin mainstream educational practice.
