Syllabus:

The concept and value of information. Information as a resource. Information requirements identification. Information systems planning and plans - appraisal of information systems proposals. Organising information systems - scope of responsibilities, structures, jobs, system selection and disaster planning. End user computing. Control of information systems - change management through steering committees, education and project management. Information systems evaluation.
