Syllabus:

Ship nomenclature and geometry, application of numerical integration methods, hull surface generation techniques and conic projection. Hydrostatic parameters, initial transverse and longitudinal stability, inclining experiments, damaged stability, large angle stability and stability regulations. Components of ship resistance, dimensional analysis applied to ship resistance and Froude scaling laws.
