Introduction

This course provides a qualification for people working or proposing to work in the workers compensation field who are interested in furthering their studies into the legal and practice aspects of workers compensation.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

An undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian institution or equivalent qualification, and a minimum of two years relevant work experience.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This fee-paying course is one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Career Opportunities

Graduates may seek employment in the workers compensation departments of insurance companies, employment in State and Federal Government departments dealing with workers compensation and employment in all medium to large organisations that manage workerscompensation claims.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
