Introduction

This honours course extends knowledge or research as it applies in one of the range of science fields, and demonstrates this through the undertaking of a supervised research project and the presentation of a dissertation.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Refer to Admission in Honours Degree Programs and Regulations for Honours Degree in the General Information section of the Curtin Courses Handbook. Only students with outstanding performance in undergraduate study will be considered for entry to the honours program. Candidates should inform the course coordinator of an intention to apply for entry to the honours program prior to or immediately after the conclusion of undergraduate study.

Duration and Availability

The course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
