Introduction

This double major provides appropriate property and accounting skills to enable graduates to maintain an accounting information system for entities specialising in property development and investment or private and government entities having substantial real estate assets. It is designed for those seeking a career with development companies, firms engaged in property management, financial and investment institutions.

Special Note

This course is NOT recognised as being acceptable for membership of CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Students wishing to join either body must complete Finance (Principles) 215, Business Statistics 101 and Accounting (Managerial Control) 301.
