Syllabus:

Introduction to the theories and research pertaining to written and verbal communication skills required by psychologists in professional practice. These skills are applicable in industry, government and community settings.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of the basic skills required to communicate in the written and verbal form. An understanding of the importance of verbal and non-verbal communication in professional practice. A basic knowledge of how groups are formed and operate. An understanding of critical thinking skills.
