Syllabus:

Research topic development, report structure and logic, bibliographic analysis and research methodologies. The presentation of a research proposal.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have developed a research topic that is relevant to current planning agendas and of an appropriate scale and scope. Generated bibliographic support for an identified research topic. Understood the appropriate research techniques and methodologies to apply to a chosen topic. Developed a range of external contacts to assist in their research task.
