Syllabus:

Designed for students with TEE Applicable Mathematics. Principles of mathematics. Introductory calculus. Differential calculus. Linear and matrix algebra I.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this subject students will have - Gained understanding of the way mathematics is expressed in written form and the importance of using basic logical arguments in the solution of problems. Dveloped an understanding of the basic principles of calculus and skillfully applied the basic techniques of differential calculus. Demonstrated basic skills in the algebra of matrices and vectors and in the use of calculators and understanding of their limitations. Demonstrated skills in the use of a symbolic mathematical package.
