Syllabus:

An understanding of the principles of successful management in architectural and interior design offices and organisations. Human resources management, programming, cost planning, feasibility studies, financial management in design practices and quality assurance.
 

Unit Outcomes:

ON successful completion of this unit, students will have - An understanding of the work environment they will likely encounter after graduation. An understanding of the challenges and rewards of running their own Architectural or Interior Design Practice. The skills required to successfully manage a small business. Knowledge of some legal aspects of establishing and running a small business.
