Syllabus:

Social issues in anthropology - race-ethnic relations and social policy. An examination of processes which influence the nature of race and ethnic relations in a number of societies - the nature of social construction and reproduction of race/ethnic relations. The nature and role of social policy. Relations between the nation and state and minorities.
