Syllabus:

The application of management to the construction industry. Schools of management theory, management functions, delegation and authority, motivation, leadership, communications.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of the general management principles applied to the construction industry. An understanding of issues of ecological sustainability across various disciplines. An awareness of thecontext in which environmentally sustainable decisions are made.
