Syllabus:

Provides participants with an introduction to personnel psychology and human resource management, and the role of psychological theory and methodology in promoting strategic utilisation and development of human resources in organisations.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will be able to demonstrate - In-depth knowledge of areas and issues relating to psychological principles to human resources management. Ability to recognise key relationships between the human resources function and other organisational sub-systems. Knowledge of recent advances in the human resources area, including utility considerations for HR development programs
