Syllabus:

Identification of specific areas of research interest in education. Critique of current relevant literature leading to the formulation of a researchable problem. Examination and selection of appropriate methodologies for application to particular research problems. Ethical considerations associated with research in education.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have- Produced a research proposal document that meets Curtin University standards for achieving candidacy in higher degree by research (HDR) studies.
