Syllabus:

Project based on a formulation topic selected by the student in consultation with the supervisor. Selected tutorials in the areas of preservation of pharmaceutical products, research methods, drug delivery devices and targeting of drugs in the body.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed an understanding of the rationale for the formulation of a range of drugs. Developed the ability to criticize current literature regarding drug formulation. Developed an appreciation ofa range of systems for drug delivery. Demonstrated the ability to prepare reports related to drug formulation.
