Syllabus:

A study of trusts at common law. A detailed study of the provisions of the Income Tax Assessment Act and associated Acts and regulations and the Stamp Act as they relate to trusts.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have- Examined the common law and taxation of trusts and the practical application of these principles in the use of trusts as a tax-planning vehicle.
