Syllabus:

System analysis methods including modelling data, process, and object. A variety of system development approaches using agile development including rapid application development, joint application development, and prototyping.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Understood the main concepts associated with managing information systems and their development. Used appropriate techniques to construct conceptual data model, physical, logical process model, and function models. Demonstrated knowledge of traditional and contemporary systems development methodologies and approaches. Created a Requirement Specification Report which includes business objectives, an information systems specification, a developmentplan and financial justification. Professionally presented proposals to management.
