Syllabus:

Development of capacities for individual investigation, research and the solution of a planning problem. Development of abilities to identify a problem, undertake original empirical research, analyse data using appropriate quantitative and qualitative techniques and formulate recommendations and conclusions. Advances knowledge in some element(s) of planning and practically applies some technique(s) of planning.
 

Unit Outcomes:

Upon completion of this unit the student will have Completed a piece of original research advancing planning knowledge or practically applying planning techniques to a planning problem.
