Syllabus:

Introduction and analysis the principles of organisation, administration and management and the influence of values, ethics and codes of conduct in Western Australia and elsewhere. Examination of these principles and influences on private, voluntary andpublic sector planning, conservation and development organisations.
 

Unit Outcomes:

Upon completion of this unit the student will have developed an understanding of the principles of organisation, administration and management for emerging professionals including, interaction with ministers, chief executive officers, supervisors, administration, technical and professional staff, clients, committees, the media, interviews and personal portfolios. Gained an understanding of the values, ethics and codes of conduct for emerging professionals. Developed an understanding of the organisation,administration and management and values, ethics and codes of conduct for the public, private and voluntary sectors, planning consultancy, local, state and commonwealth government and land development.
