Syllabus:

Role of drilling in petroleum development, drilling rig selection, drill string selection and design, drilling fluids and bits, drilling mud hydraulics and lifting capacity, casing and primary cementation, basic concepts for well control, directional drilling techniques, wellbore stability, corrosion control, cementing, casing and tubular design and selection.
