Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Explained the characteristics of the 'new' public health model. Described how the characteristics of the 'new' public health affect practice. Described the relevance of Australian patterns of morbidity and mortality to the National Health Priorities. Provided examples of public health strategies to address Australia's National Health Priorities in improving the community's health and explained their rationale. |
