Syllabus:

Students may undertake a research project or develop a community development initiative or conduct an evaluation of an existing project in either a local or international context. The final format of this project is negotiated with an assigned supervisor.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On sucessful completion of this unit, students will have- Demonstrated an ability to utilise appropriate methodologies in conducting a small research or evaluative project. Gained a practical awareness of the applicability of various research processes in community and social development. Presented and discussed project findings in the context of a diversity of audiences and stakeholders.
