Syllabus:

Z-transforms, Fourier transforms, filter characteristics. Convolution, correction, inverse filters, deconvolution. Seismic multiples - recognition methods of attenuation. Wave propagation modelling, migration pre-stack and post-stack, DMO. Seismic anisotropy.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Been provided with the theoretical basis for seismic processing techniques.
