Syllabus:

Introduction to seismic data acquisition methods, seismic waves, CMP, stacking, sources, receivers, survey systems, 2-D, 3-D recording, planning a survey, tomography and VSP.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- A sound knowledge of seismic data acquisition methods.
