Assignment (Australian health care) 25%, Class Presentation 15% and Examination 60%. This is by grade/mark assessment.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - demonstrate an understanding of the Australian health care system, health care institutions and the role of medical and allied health personnel in providing health care. Demonstrate an ability to access information via the web. Display an understanding of introductory law concepts basic to health care and the uses of health information. Display a thorough knowledge of the issues pertaining to confidentiality and health information systems.
