Syllabus:

The problems of software quality, review of design techniques and reusability of software. Object-oriented design and programming - data abstraction, objects, classes, genericity, inheritance. Use of a suitable language.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - An understanding of the technical problems associated with the production of high quality software and will be introduced to the techniques of object-oriented design and programming.
