Syllabus:

Introduction to accounting and financial statements. Transaction analysis. The basic accounting cycle - recording business transactions, journal, ledger, adjusting entries, preparation and presentation of financial statements. Bank reconciliation. CVP analysis. Capital budgeting. Cost analysis for management decisions. Budgets for planning and control.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have- Analysed accounting data. Converted accounting data to information for use in management and decision making situations within the Administration Management arena.
