Syllabus:

Focus on the issues and practices of day to day facilitation and examination of the strategic issues associated with developing a learning culture within an organisation. Examination of experiential approaches to learning along with in-depth knowledge of learning theories and the learning organisation. Investigation of learning experiences encouraging thoughtful reflection about adult learning theories and application.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Systematically analysed and synthesised the contemporary literature on adult learning. Analysed the characteristics of a learning organisation and establish the role of adult learning in such enterprises. Employed action research methods to determine the effectiveness of learning in an organisation. Developed a strategic plan to guide the development of an effective learning culture within an organisation.
