Syllabus:

Introduction to the concepts in writing for the screen, in particular the comparison between written and spoken dialogue, the use of screen narrative structures, movement and time.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit, students will- Be familiar with and able to use standard script layouts. Understand the difference between written and spoken dialogue. Understand the basic elements of narrative and non-narrative script structures.
