Syllabus:

Application of the theoretical elements of dramatic and narrative film-making in a series of practical workshops and group exercises. Script realisation, the use of vision and sound elements, and approaches to working with actors.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of the various areas of specialization involved in drama production. An understanding of the ways in which these various areas of specialization interrelate in the production of film drama. Gained basic practical experience in at least two of these areas of specialisation through the production of short dramatic exercises.
