Syllabus:

Four modules that are designed to introduce and develop both critical concepts associated with documentary production and the production of (technical) skills and abilities necessary to execute effective production.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of how to operate advanced video equipment in situations typical of single-camera documentary production. Developed an understanding of approaches to the documentary and how theyinfluence and are influenced by production techniques. Developed an understanding of the processes of documentary production. Developed an understanding of the protocols of documentary production, including ethical approaches to subjects. Developed theirability to work in groups as a member of a creative team. Worked at a level consistent with graduate enrolment.
