Syllabus:

Topics on new and emerging chemical engineering sciences and technologies will be selected and taught depending on availability of specialist staff and distinguished visitors. Areas of present interest include advanced materials, polymer, chemical vapour deposition, biomedical engineering and high temperature synthesis.
 

Unit Outcomes:

Explain and discuss implications of the topics covered for chemical engineers at an introductory level. Application of chemical engineering knowledge and independent skills to a range of processing problems.
