Syllabus:

Provides teachers with the opportunity to design, implement and evaluate the use of IT, multimedia and the Internet in their own classrooms.
 

Unit Outcomes:

Possess a clear understanding of , and practical experience in using, appropriate learning technologies in their own classroom. Have prepared, implemented, evaluated, modified and reported on the impact of these learning technologies in their own classroom. Have completed a 'research stream' in one of five technology-rleated educational research areas. Possess the knowledge, experience and competence to share their knowledge and skills with and to lead and mentor, their colleagues.

There are four items of formal assessment: Assignment 1: Participation Bulletin Board. (10%), Assignment 2: Research Project (25%), Assignment 3: Personal IT-LT Productivity Portfolio (15%- 40%), Assignment 4: Classroom Teaching Portfolio (25%- 50%)
