Health, Safety, Facilities Audit, Safety Management System, Safety Assessment, Permit to Work, Incident Reporting System, Emergency Response System, Operating and Testing Requirements, Safety Induction and Training, Environment, Oil Spill Response, Department of Mines and EPA Requirements for Drilling and Testing, Floating Rig/Platform Mooring Plans, Well Location Site Survey, Marine Safety, Gas Flaring Restrictions.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit students will have covered facilities audit, safety management system, incident reporting and safety induction and training. Statutory requirements on environmental impacts from petroleum development are also covered.
