Syllabus:

The social dynamics of learning environments. Examination of the social dynamics. Communication as a vehicle for improving the social-psychological learning environment. Promoting a climate conducive to encouraging student engagement and empowering individuals. Application of teaching and learning processes to empower students.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Examined the social dynamics of groups within the classroom. Used communication as a vehicle for improving the social-psychological learning environment. Considered how to promote a climate conducive to encouraging student engagement and empowering individuals. Developed teaching and learning processes to empower students.
