Syllabus:

The student will work with a mentor to develop a project for their current employer or to work with an agency, for example prepare a plan for a database and internet marketing proposal, develop a proposal and prepare it for presentation to a sponsor or another agency, prepare a marketing plan. Additional information will be presented through the internet an discussed via a chat-room established for students on the course.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Demonstrated fundamental technical and conceptual skills in developing, planning and completing a major project in the field. Analysed strategies and selected appropriate methodologies for specific tasks. Effectively developed, documented and presented ideas. Demonstrated an appropriate level of independent judgement, imagination and commitment to set projects. Reviewed the success and effectiveness of specific projects and developed skills in reporting on that evaluation.
